CHALLENGE/

Poli, a brand known exclusively for its chicken-based products, is launching a plant-based sausage made from pea protein, aiming to offer flexitarians a perfect alternative to traditional chicken sausage.


SOLUTION/

We found the inspiration for the story in The Princess and the Pea. Only in our version, the princess discovered Poli Green among the mattresses.

Poli has always been a witty and playful brand, and we wanted to stay true to that spirit with this campaign as well.

In the teasing phase, we played with a pea pod and the campaign’s main slogan, “Nori na.” (Mad about). We used visual elements which are very recognizable as Poli brand the Balkan region, so it was immediately clear to the public who was communicating with them. This sparked curiosity, since peas have no obvious connection to chicken sausage.

Also in other phases of campaign we retained the key brand elements that have been used for decades, but gave them a green twist. This approach was meant to spark consumer curiosity, as Poli products had previously been made exclusively from chicken meat.
